‘American Horror Story’ Actor Ben Woolf Passes Away at 34

Published

A total bummer for American Horror Story fans and humanity in general, actor Ben Woolf passed away yesterday. Woolf, who was diagnosed with pituitary dwarfism, was only 34-years-old.

On Thursday night, Woolf was struck by a car’s side mirror in Hollywood. Over the weekend he was stabilized, but passed away Monday afternoon.

He played the character of Meep on American Horror Story: Freak Show. He also worked as a stunt performer on Dexter and made an appearance on the wicked underrated Adult Swim show Eagleheart in 2012.

CNN received this statement from Woolf’s family:

“We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben. He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work.”

Rest in power, Ben Woolf.

Patrick writes stuff about stuff for Bloody and Collider. His fiction has appeared in ThugLit, Shotgun Honey, Flash Fiction Magazine, and your mother's will. He'll have a ginger ale, thanks.
