“Ring of Roses” from Titan Publishing really looks to be something special. From this art preview I think of early runs on Swamp Thing, and that’s something comics are missing these days. I look at this hand drawn work, and the lines speak for themselves. I know the Davinci Code may not carry much weight with some of you, but you can fault it’s sloppy narrative but the pacing is phenomenal. While the comparison to The X-Files is something more apt, as the story seems to have a supernatural vibe that will create an irresistible narrative. I know it’s not much to go on, but Euro comics are so much more interesting than what’s going on in North America. There are still very few rules and Titan is totally killing it with each subsequent release.
