CW has been on fore as of late, and our resident writers appear to really be enjoying their comic adaptation of “iZombie”.
Back in February CW ordered a pilot presentation for “Tales From the Darkside”, a reboot of fantasy-thriller anthology series created by George A. Romero. The pilot for the series aired back in 1983, with it running from ’84-’88.
Joe Hill (“Horns,” “Locke & Key”) wrote the pilot script, which will feature only one regular character, Newman (Kris Lemche), a weathered and tortured young man who is the guide to the unsuspecting who come across “The Darkside”. Deadline had revealed that Newman – a man with his own desperate, wrenching secrets – knows exactly what’s causing the terrifying “Darkside Events” that drive the series. What he doesn’t know is how to stop them.
Some news hit Twitter via Hill, who is raving about an early cut of the pilot.
