ScreenDaily is reporting that Zoe Kazan (In Your Eyes, Fracture) is set to appear in the thriller/horror There Are Monsters, which is being directed by Bryan Bertino (The Strangers). The film should not be confused with the 2008 short film of the same name.
The film, “…focuses on a mother (Kazan) and her terrified young daughter Lizzie who are trapped and tormented by a merciless creature. In the end, only a mother’s protective love, her most primal instinct, can save them.”
In other news, There Are Monsters was acquired by A24 for release here in the States!
Production on the film will begin this summer in Canada.
