Cleveland, OH-based alt-rock band Ohio Sky have released a beautiful animated video for their track “Changing Earth”, which comes from their new album The Big Distraction. The video was illustrated by keyboardist Patrick Finegan and, “…reflects the song’s sentiment of an ever-changing landscape and the mysteries contained within.” The video can be seen below.
About the song itself, the band comments:
‘Changing Earth’ is a timely lament to our earths relationship with Earth’s past and questionable future. And in the irony of always living one generation from the apocalypse… finding a balance between the worry of our unforeseeable future and our inability to alter it.

…something ethereal and ambiently beautiful. The song adds layer after layer, texturing their sound to build to a “wall of distortion” sound that doesn’t grate on the ears. Instead, the distortion is itself a texture, a layer of intensity that almost acts like a blanket, comforting in its intensity.
