The YouTube channel House By The Video Store has posted a video where it compares the 1986 sci-fi action/thriller Aliens with the 2001 sci-fi FPS game Halo: Combat Evolved. This fan points out several items that he believes draws a comparison between the two, including the aircraft, weaponry, marines, and plot points.
Personally, I feel some of it is slightly thin as these points could be compared to a grand number of other titles, both in films and games. However, some things do raise an eyebrow and a begrudging, “Okay, ya got me there.”
