The Old Alice Hospital
This hospital is now closed, but when it was open there were claims of unplugged call bells ringing on their own on the second floor. Some residents swear they hear moaning coming from the building and lights flickering in the windows.
In more recent years the site has been used as a haunted house on Halloween. I was a part of one of these haunted houses! Now don’t take away my metal card but when I was a freshman in high school I was a part of the ROTC & the club would host this haunted house. That meant taking part in setting up all the decorations and all the cool things that happen inside.
Now I never witnessed anything myself but I have inside information that the head of the ROTC knew that this place was super haunted so they had set up a tape recorder in the morgue which is the downstairs basement. After all the festivities concluded, each night he would go change the tape out to keep the recording going along. He had about three days’ worth of footage from the downstairs morgue. To this day, no one but the heads of the club heard the tapes, however, when the few people that knew about it asked them about it, they would act like it nothing happened!
We were told not to tell anyone that they did that and for us not to ask about it again! To tell you the truth, every one kind of forgot about it with all the shit high school brings and all the hormones being thrown around; no one ever really asked about it again but it’s pretty crazy to think what’s on there.
