While we’re all waiting on news of a new album, Tool are going to peek out to play at the Monster Mash festival in Tempe, Arizona this Halloween. They’ll be performing with Primus and Coheed & Cambria, along with other bands who have yet to be announced. Tickets for this event will go on sale this Friday and can only be purchased via the official website.
Speaking of a new album, the band has made it clear that they are deep into the writing process and have even strongly suggested that they have begun recording. However, they are as secretive as ever and nothing will be revealed until they decide it’s good to go.
