A&E have released the official one-sheet for their upcoming TV series “Damien“, which follows the events after the 1976 psychological horror film The Omen. The poster shows three large sixes, inside one of which is written, “The Beast Rises”. It’s sparse but sinisterly effective.
The show’s synopsis reads:
The ten-episode ‘Damien’ follows the adult life of Damien Thorn (James), the mysterious child from the 1976 film who has grown up, seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him. Haunted by his past, Damien must now come to terms with his true destiny — that he is the Antichrist, the most feared man throughout the ages.
Earlier we posted about the first confirmed director for the show. “Damien” is being written and executively produced by Glen Mazzara (“The Walking Dead”).
