Heroic Hollywood is reporting that Colin Trevorrow has been locked down as the director of Star Wars: Episode IX. This comes after the success of Jurassic World, which is already at $1.4 billion and still climbing, making it the fifth highest grossing film of all time.
J.J. Abrams is the director of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens while Rian Johnson has been tapped for Star Wars: Episode VIII.
