Growing up, it was rare to get an action figure made out of one of my beloved characters. Now, in 2015, there are more Evil Dead toys and products than I care to own.
Now, with Starz’ bringing Sam Raimi back behind the camera for the Evil Dead-inspired series, “Ash vs Evil Dead,” NECA has landed the license to bring them to us fans.
While we don’t know what’s truly in store for the series, this weekend we saw the trailer debut, and it knocked our socks off. A new, older, more modern Ash (played by Bruce Campbell) would be welcomed in action figure form. Also, the new Deadites look pretty dope, no?
Anyways, NECA hit a fan back via Twitter confirming toys are on the way: “Yes we have the licenses for Hateful 8 and the new ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ show,” they wrote. “More on those in the Fall.”
Watch this spot for prototype shots as they’re revealed, as well as completed molds. I wish I could pre-order these right now…
