While I haven’t played it, my friends are all gushing about Batman: Arkham Knight. And who can blame them? The game is getting rave reviews for its story and presentation (minus the horrible PC port) and it’s supposed to be just an insanely fun game. Hell, even Mr. Disgusting was telling me how much he enjoys it!
My generation remembers Batman in a slightly different manner, being that many of us grew up seeing The Caped Crusade played by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns. The films featured iconic views of the suit and of the Batmobile, both of which are coming to Arkham Knight this August!
A press release states:
Battle through the streets of Gotham City with this pack that includes the Batman skin and Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film, as well as two tracks inspired by the film’s sequel.
According to ComicsAlliance, there will be, “…two race courses included based on Batman Returns, and it looks like one will be Wayne Manor and the other is possibly the Gotham Zoo.”
The DLC pack will also include six other skins: 1970s Batman, pre-Batman, Inc. gray and black Batman, Arkham Origins Batman, 1990s Catwoman, Arkham City Nightwing and One Year Later Robin.
Individual pricing hasn’t been released but this is definitely part of the Season Pass that cost users $40.
