Man’s Appearance In Horror Film Leads To His Arrest

Well, this is a unique way to get arrested!

Actor Jason Stange was arrested last Friday after federal agents saw pictures of the fugitive in a story run by The Olympian.

Stange was sentenced in 2006 to nearly 10 years in jail for pleading guilty to an armed robbery. He was wanted by officers for violating his probation in 2014.

According to The News Tribune, U.S. Marshal Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force officers tracked down Stange using the film’s permit and arrested him at a nearby restaurant.

44-year old Stange is one of the leading actors in the low-budget horror film Marla Mae, which finished filming last week in Washington. His role and appearance will apparently be left in the final product. The feature-length film is directed, written, produced by and stars Lisa van Dam-Bates. More information can be found on the official website.
