Waxwork Records took to Instagram to announce that they will be releasing Richard Band‘s score to the 1986 sci-fi/body horror film From Beyond.
Directed by Stuart Gordon and starring Jeffrey Combs, the film’s synopsis reads:
A group of scientists have developed the Resonator, a machine which allows whoever is within range to see beyond normal perceptible reality. But when the experiment succeeds, they are immediately attacked by terrible life forms.
There is no word on when the album will be released but this is a very cool title to get the vinyl treatment! If you haven’t seen From Beyond, you’re missing out on a really fucked up but fascinating 80’s gem. Definitely give it a shot!
