Oculus director Mike Flanagan and and star Annalise Basso are set for Universal’s Ouija 2, says Heat Vision.
Flanagan is co-writing the script with Jeff Howard.
Basso will star as a young girl grieving the death of her father.
Universal, Blumhouse, Platinum Dunes and Hasbro’s Ouija 2, set for release on Oct. 21, 2016, will again revolve around the ancient spirit board that was at the center of the first film.
Flanagan also wrote and directed Before I Wake, a horror film starring Kate Bosworth that was previously with Relativity.
