NSFW ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse’ Trailer Delivers Epic Gore, Laughs!
Holy shit, guys.
Paramount has just released a NSFW red band trailer for Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (formerly Scouts vs Zombies). It looks like the most fun I’ve ever had.
Directed by Christopher Landon, “Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.”

The trailer is jam-packed with laughs, as well as insane gore. Seriously, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse looks to be in contention for one of the goriest films ever made. There’s everything from zombie boobs to undead cats and head explosions. “BOOM” is right…
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse will open in theaters October 30th, and as part of a new distribution deal, will arrive on home video and VOD within 17 days of the film nearing its theatrical exit.
Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
