Koch Media is set to release the fifth season of Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone to Blu-ray and DVD in Germany on September 10, 2015. This final season of the original run of The Twilight Zone featured some of the most iconic episodes in the history of the show. The 36 episodes include ‘Nightmare at 20,000 Feet’ starring William Shatner, written by Richard Matheson and directed by Richard Donner. This episode alone may very well be the most popular of all, making it’s way into Twilight Zone: The Movie, as done by George Miller, and serving as the inspiration for my personal favorite ‘Treehouse of Horror’ segment on The Simpsons. You know, the one with Wang Computers.
In addition to Shatner, the fifth season of The Twilight Zone features guest appearances from Jack Klugman, Lee Marvin, Mickey Rooney, Telly Savalas, James Coburn, Warren Oats and more!
