The mystery of Jack the Ripper is something that I believe will never cease to be of interest to people. The fact that his identity has never been figured out still haunts and perplexes scholars and enthusiasts to this day. But what if we could get the world’s greatest detective on the case?
Such is the premise of writer/director James Campbell’s Ripper, which imagines the Dark Knight chasing the famed serial killer in Victorian England’s Whitechapel District. Personally, I think it’s a really interesting and exciting idea to have Batman go after the Ripper. Plus, how much do you want to bet that there will be a twist at the end that the Ripper is somehow actually the Joker?
