Don’t let its uninspired title fool you, Layers of Fear may be one of the more promising indie horror games to release on Steam Early Access in some time. It comes from Bloober Team — the makers of the PlayStation exclusive Basement Crawl — and it looks very much like our cup of tea. It’s a psychedelic horror game that follows an ambitious artist who seems to be quickly losing his grip on sanity while trying to paint a masterpiece.
Layers of Fear is available on Steam Early Access for $9.99. Get it by Sept 3 for 15% off ($8.49).
