Techland recently freed a couple of screenshots from Dying Light: The Following, the gargantuan expansion that promises to make its $15 price tag worth it — or for season pass owners, $0 — by adding quite a lot of content to an already meaty game.
Eschewing the more vertically-inclined environments in the main game, The Following takes the zombie apocalypse to the sprawling Harran countryside, the home of a mysterious cult that claims to be immune to the plague. The map will drastically alter how the game is played by emphasizing ranged over close-quarters combat with new ranged weapons like the crossbow and submachine gun, along with customizable dune buggies for closing the gap between you and your foe.
The DLC hasn’t been given a release date, but it is expected to arrive “soon”.
