Waxwork Opens Up ‘C.H.U.D.’ Pre-orders: Snag Your Copy!

Today is a big day for all fans of Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers! Waxwork Records has opened up pre-orders for their C.H.U.D. vinyl, which is the first time that the soundtrack has been released in any format! This release is based off the original master tapes, which were found by Waxwork with the assistance of composers Martin Cooper and David Hughes.

Direct from the official press release:

The primitive synth score composed by Martin Cooper and David Hughes captures the seedy, grim landscape that embodied early 1980’s NYC. In collaboration with the composers, Waxwork has effectively re-stored, re-mixed, and mastered the full film score directly from the original master tapes.

Inside the LP gatefold are liner notes and interview questions with director Douglas Cheek, courtesy of Rue Morgue. The artwork itself was done by “Ghoulish” Gary Pullin.
