Chinese top actress Li Bingbing is set to star in the Australian sci-fi thriller Nest, which is said to be the largest Chinese-Australian co-production to date. The film is being directed by Kimble Rendall (Bait 3D), per Variety.
Nest‘s synopsis reads:
The story involves a team of scientists who, while making the discovery of the century, lose a colleague in an ancient labyrinth. The group must battle their way through a swarm of deadly, man-eating funnel web spiders and discover the secret behind the insects’ power and unusual intelligence.
Man-eating spiders? Count me right the fuck out. Like, no way in hell am I seeing this movie.
