Henry Thomas – who played Elliot in Steven Spielberg’s iconic E.T.(!) – and Lulu Wilson (Deliver Us From Evil) have signed on to Ouija 2, the sequel to the hit film inspired by the iconic board game, reports Heat Vision.
The actors join previously announced stars Annalise Basso and Elizabeth Reaser in the Universal Pictures, Platinum Dunes, Blumhouse Productions and Hasbro project.
Oculus‘ Mike Flanagan will direct and write the screenplay alongside Jeff Howard.
Universal, Blumhouse, Platinum Dunes and Hasbro’s Ouija 2, set for release on Oct. 21, 2016, will again revolve around the ancient spirit board that was at the center of the first film.
