Ryan Murphy (“American Horror Story”, “Scream Queens”) is one busy guy! Coming February to FX is “American Crime Story“, a new limited series from the prolific producer. Focusing on the O.J. Simpson murder trial, the series will feature performances from Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson, John Travolta as defense attorney Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as defense attorney Robert Kardashian, Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark, Courtney B. Vance as defense attorney Johnnie Cochran, and Bruce Greenwood as Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti.
The series is based upon the book “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson” by Jeffrey Toobin. The series aims to tell the story from the perspective of the lawyers and all the chaos that went on behind the scenes.
