Hot off the heels of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Rebecca Ferguson is allegedly in talks to join Ridley Scott’s Alien: Paradise Lost, the newly titled Prometheus sequel, Deadline writes.
While no official offer has been made, the latest script for the film features, “…a peach of a major female role,” which has led executives at Fox to consider Ferguson.

Alien: Paradise Lost is the sequel to Prometheus, which introduced viewers to a new side of the Alien universe, this time focusing on the “Engineers”, the creators of the human species. The film will continue the story of Dr. Emily Shaw as well as David, played by Michael Fassbender. It will then be followed by Neill Blomkamp’s Alien, which takes place after the events in 1986’s Aliens.
The film is slated for release on May 30, 2017.
