Tsukasa Takenaka, producer on the upcoming Resident Evil 0 HD remaster, and the original game’s director, Koji Oda, return to bring us another in-depth look at the prequel’s origins. Think of it like it’s a prequel for a prequel, or more specifically, a prequel for the remaster of a prequel.
In the previous video, the duo focused on the original Resident Evil 0 prototype and the process of turning it into the game that many of us know and love today. This time, we’re digging into the cast of characters with a look at some early concepts for each, including a variant of Rebecca Chambers that definitely looks like she was meant to be throwing punches in Street Fighter.
The Resident Evil 0 HD remaster hits PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in January.
