I’d like to take you on a journey. Just close your eyes, open your mind, and relax. When you hit play on the video below, I want you to imagine a calm lake surrounded by a dense forest, and inside that forest is a smattering of rustic cabins. You’re walking next to those cabins now, guided only by the pale glow of the full moon that hovers above you.
It’s a beautiful night to be outside. It’s chilly, but not enough that it’s uncomfortable. What is uncomfortable is the sudden sharp pain you feel in your stomach. You look down to see six inches of dirty steel protruding from your stomach. As the light leaves your eyes, you wonder if there will ever be a third Condemned game, and if it’ll be any good. Then, you go to sleep.
As relaxing as that meditation exercise was for all of us, it wouldn’t have been as effective if we didn’t have a track from composer Harry Manfredini’s Friday the 13th: The Game OST to build off of. There will be more like it in the full game, so long as it gets another $15k before its Kickstarter campaign wraps up on Friday (Nov 13).
