Learn the Legend of ‘Krampus’

Michael Dougherty’s Krampus is nearly upon us! It almost doesn’t feel real, considering how long of a wait we had to endure for Trick ‘r Treat. But now that we’re a little over a week out, it’s really settled in that we’re going to get a new Christmas-themed horror movie that looks wildly entertaining!

But in order to fully appreciate the movie and all it has to offer, it’s good to have some background knowledge on the subject matter at hand. So, to give you a little flavor of what Krampus is really about, a new video goes into the myth and legend of this European parable. You can see it below!

In Krampus, “When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.

All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.
