‘Doom’ Multiplayer Beta Goes Public On Friday

It’s happening. On Friday, the Doom multiplayer beta will go public as the legions of Hell spew forth from their infernal tomb to blanket our world in total darkness for three whole days. There will be blood, and yes, giblets too. There’s no escaping the avalanche of demonic rabblerousery that’s headed our way. Don’t bother hiding from it, they like the hunt.
From April 15-17, everyone will have the opportunity to try the Team Deathmatch and Warpath game modes on two of the nine maps — Heatwave and Infernal — that will come with the new Doom when it hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 13. Preload the beta now and you’ll be ready before things start to… heat up.

The film comes from writer-director William Woods and stars Constance Wu, Mark O’Brien, William Fichtner, Callista Crowe, Isaac Smelcer-Zhang, Oscar Hsu, and Murray Furrow.
Maddy Falle, Albert Shin, and Allison White produce. Executive producers include Rob McGillivray, Ben Stranahan, Tom Spriggs, John Hansen III, Patrick Vipond, Jared Blaichman, Jonah Blaichman, and Randall Okita.
