‘Dead Island: Retro Revenge’ Trailer is for Cat Lovers

When the Dead Island Definitive Collection releases on May 31, it’ll bring with it remasters of both Dead Island games and a 16-bit styled spin-off called Dead Island: Retro Revenge. The side-scrolling brawler embraces the series’ zany, over-the-top nature by trading the bloody first-person combat with arcade action, complete with combos, power-ups, super weapons and magic attacks. It also follows an eccentric man, named Max, who’s frighteningly intent on saving his cat from a zombie-infested California

For an unspecified amount of time, Retro Revenge will only be available as a part of the Definitive Collection. A standalone digital release is also coming (for $4.99), we just don’t know when yet.

That facial hair is so distracting.
