I think I have “American Horror Story” fatigue. Even though I loved the first episode of “Hotel,” the fifth season in FX’s anthology series, I never finished watching it. Maybe it was because Jessica Lange was missing in action (she’s done for good, apparently), or that I’ve grown tired of the overly long seasons, but I just couldn’t gather enough energy to continue forth.
The show will go on, with or without me, and apparently begins filming this summer.
According to the Washington Blade, comedian Leslie Jordan will be returning to the franchise. Jordan, who starred in “Coven” as Quentin Fleming, who was among the Council of Witches, told the site:
I’m booked all summer, then on July 7, I go back to “American Horror Story” with Lady Gaga, isn’t that fun? I did one season on “Coven.” They offered me another season but I got offered a reality show in London and I needed the money. Let me tell you, those reality shows pay a lot of money. So I turned down “Freak Show,” biggest mistake of my life. I didn’t think Mr. (Ryan) Murphy would want me again because I turned him down, but he did.
The next season of “American Horror Story” is said to be mixing two ideas (one of which is NOT Slenderman), and will see the return of Lady Gaga.
Expected back are Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson and Finn Wittrock.
