Tripwire Interactive just unveiled a new virtual reality spin-off of the popular Killing Floor franchise that the studio is building specifically for the Oculus Touch. Killing Floor: Incursion follows the elite soldiers of the Corzine Security Forces, who specialize in eliminating Zeds with little more than a stern glance in their general direction.
The partnership with Oculus is a good sign that this game will have the same priority as something like Killing Floor 2. “The [Oculus Touch] technology is expressive and brings an amazing amount of control and immersiveness that traditional games can’t begin to compete with,” said Leland Scali, Project Lead at Tripwire Interactive.
Killing Floor: Incursion hasn’t been given a release date yet, but this year seems likely.
