We didn’t have to wait long to see Gabriel Luna as the new Ghost Rider, who make his first television appearance on last night’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”.
In 2013, Robbie Reyes became Ghost Rider as part of the Marvel NOW! initiative. He debuted featuring a new Mexican-American character named Roberto “Robbie” Reyes, taking on the mantle. He drives a black classic muscle car reminiscent of a Dodge Charger instead of a motorcycle and lives in East Los Angeles. The character was debuted in 2013. Robbie Reyes was created by writer/artist Felipe Smith and designed by Felipe Smith and artist Tradd Moore. (Wiki)
Now, we have a video of Luna as Reyes with his Charger, transforming and going into battle with Quake. Check out some shots of his transformation, too.
Personally, I dig on the comic-esque look that’s both hardcore and cartoon-y. I’ve never seen “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” – but now I can’t wait to check it out. What did you guys think?
