But some fans of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise aren’t content with simply being Freddy…
After more than 30 years of fans slapping on the mask and sweater, we’ve been very delighted to see that some have been stepping way outside the box and portraying other characters and even specific moments from the Elm Street series. Let’s face it, there’s nothing unique about dressing up as Freddy in 2016, but oh boy are THESE costumes special.
I’ve been collecting images of unique Elm Street costumes on my computer for a couple years now, and now that I’ve got a nice little collection, I wanted to share them with you. From dressing as Debbie Stevens to Freddy on a broomstick, these fans went above and beyond to pay tribute to the franchise on Halloween night, and we love them for that.
