Look, we realize we’re still a few days away from Halloween, which is our primary focus right now, but Christmas is going to be here before you know it… and oh boy do we come bearing a treat that you are going to enjoy the hell out of come Christmastime. But why wait until then?
Artists Leigh Lahav and Oren Mendez just partnered to create an unofficial “Stranger Things” Christmas special, which reimagines the hit Netflix series in the Peanuts universe. Titled “Merry Christmas, Will Byers,” the three-minute animated video is true to the Peanuts style, and in it Will Byers is having a tough time getting into the holiday spirit.
You would too if you just returned from the Upside Down, I assure you.
