The beloved characters of “Stranger Things” are back to continue their battle against strange creatures this September when Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 returns with its second season.
Season 2 debuts September 17 on Netflix. Watch the official trailer below.
The first season of the animated spinoff was set in the winter of 1985, as snow blankets Hawkins and the horrors of the Upside Down are finally fading. Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days.
In the second season, “With Valentine’s Day on the way, the gang must uncover the truth behind ghostly apparitions and a swarm of strange creatures causing chaos around town.“
The cast includes Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, Brett Gipson as Hopper, Jeremy Jordan as Steve, and Odessa A’zion as newcomer Nikki Baxter.
Janeane Garofalo is Anna Baxter, Lou Diamond Phillips is Daniel Fischer, Robert Englund is Cosmo, Alysia Reiner is Karen Wheeler, Alessandra Antonelli is Nancy Wheeler, Valeria Rodriguez is Rosario, and Jack Griffo is Jeff.
Stranger Things creators Matt & Ross Duffer executive produce with Hilary Leavitt on behalf of Upside Down Pictures, alongside Shawn Levy via 21 Laps, Dan Cohen, and Robles.
