Factory Entertainment Unleashing 10″ Freddy, Jason and Pennywise Resin Statues

They’re also releasing a Pennywise lunchbox!

The coolest incarnation of Freddy Krueger, if you’re asking me, was seen in Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street. With gnarlier makeup and solid red sleeves, the original version of Freddy was quite a bit different looking than subsequent versions – the makeup changed from film to film and, of course, beginning with the first sequel, stripes were added to the sleeves.

It’s surprisingly rare that the original version of Freddy is depicted in the form of toys/collectibles, which is why I’m excited to see that Factory Entertainment’s upcoming premium statue of the burnt-faced horror icon is based on the 1984 classic. The resin statue stands 10″ tall (12″ with its base), and we’ve got your first look out of this week’s Toy Fair thanks to Figures.com.

The statue features two heads and interchangeable arms, allowing you to recreate both the face removal scene and the terrifying moment where Freddy’s arms grow impossibly long.

Per the website:

Freddy Krueger will be followed by Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th – a combo of Part 2 and 3 with interchangeable sack head and hockey mask and to have swap-out arms with a different weapon, machete, et al. Also announced was Pennywise the clown with handful of balloons from Stephen King’s IT (the Tim Curry starring miniseries). Also be on the lookout for a Pennywise tin lunch box. The statues will retail for a SRP of $99.99 each.

The new statue line will debut in the second quarter of this year.
