We’ve seen many incarnations of Kong. None this massive.
He’s battling Godzilla on the big screen in 2020, so it makes sense that the version of King Kong we’ll be seeing in next month’s Kong: Skull Island is going to be even bigger than any other Kong we’ve ever seen. As director Jordan Vogt-Roberts recently revealed, the new Kong measures a staggering 100-feet tall, which makes him taller than the friggin’ Sistine Chapel!
The fine folks over on Best UK Casino just whipped up an infographic for the film that’s all about the size of the new Kong, and it breaks down some in-depth details about just how tall he is, how much he weighs, and how much destruction his size makes him capable of. For example, the new Kong weighs over 3-million lbs, and requires 400,000 bananas a day to keep his weight up!

The film was scripted by Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy, and Derek Connolly.
Skull Island opens in theaters on March 10th, 2017, followed by Godzilla 2, which is being directed by Michael Dougherty, on March 22, 2019, and Godzilla vs. Kong on May 29, 2020.
