I guess we work too fast sometimes. We posted this awesome Kong: VR experience yesterday morning before the press release went out, with an embargo for this morning. Alas, it was removed, but only for the past 24 hours. Now, you can strap on your headset and enter the world of Kong Kong.

If you thought the latest trailer was immersive, just wait until you enter the world of Skull Island and experience a face-to-face encounter with the King!

As the the ultimate monster icon returns to the big screen in Kong: Skull Island, Warner Bros. and Legendary present an immersive 360-degree experience that brings the mighty Kong to life in VR for the first time.

Developed by Legendary VR, ILMxLabs and the same VFX team that worked on the film, this visually stunning adventure places YOU at the center of an epic battle sequence as you join the Sky Devil helicopter squadron on a flight across the uncharted destination of Skull Island.

Lt. Colonel Packard (Samuel L. Jackson) will be your guide as you join a mission into myth. But beware the epic forces of nature you may awaken. Monsters exist, and you don’t belong here…

Kong: Skull Island features Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell, and Eugene Cordero.

In KONG: SKULL ISLAND, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific – as beautiful as it is treacherous – unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.

The film was scripted by Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy, and Derek Connolly.

Skull Island opens in theaters on March 10th, 2017, followed by Godzilla 2, which is being directed by Michael Dougherty, on March 22, 2019, and Godzilla vs. Kong on May 29, 2020.
