New toys! From new movies!
Two of the biggest movies hitting theaters in the remainder of 2017 are of course Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant and Nikolaj Arcel’s The Dark Tower, the latter of course being the first ever adaptation of Stephen King’s novel series. Diamond Select Toys has acquired licenses for both films, and they’ll be unleashing a series of collectibles timed to their individual releases.
Diamond Select’s Alien: Covenant output will include a line of MiniMates (which we recently showed you) as well as a bust bank of the film’s classic Xenomorph. As for The Dark Tower, action figures of Idris Elba’s Roland Deschain and Matthew McConaughey’s “The Man in Black” are soon headed our way.
