The wait is over. We’ve got actual footage.

Okay so before your hopes skyrocket up to the skies, let me establish right off the bat here that we don’t have all that much to show you today. We don’t catch a glimpse of any scenes in this latest “Twin Peaks” teaser and we don’t even see any of the characters. But this is still huge and exciting, because it’s the first actual footage from the revival. What does the fictional town look like today, 25 years after we were first invited into its web of mystery of intrigue? Find out below!

“Twin Peaks” will return on Sunday, May 21, at 9/8c, with a two-hour premiere. The new David Lynch-directed episodes are set 25 years after the events of the original series.

All told, the revival will consist of 18 hours. Immediately following the two-hour opener, Episodes 3 and 4 will be available On Demand and via Showtime’s streaming platform.
