Kill her mommy. Kill her!
“Friday the 13th: The Game” is headed to Xbox One, PS4 and Steam as a digital download on May 26th, and we honestly cannot wait. Gun Media and developer Illfonic went all out to make sure the game is nothing short of a massive treat for fans, bringing in Tom Savini to design the kills, Harry Manfredini to compose the score and Kane Hodder to do the mo-cap for Jason.
And yes, even Pamela Voorhees will be in the game. Actress Jen Burton played the iconic character’s voice for a series of collectible tapes that you can find scattered around Camp Crystal Lake, Higgins Haven and Packanack Lodge. Co-creator Wes Keltner raved to us about her performance, recalling that “she said like four words [as Pamela] and we all got chills.”
You’ll see what he means when you listen to “The Pamela Tapes” below, which showcase Burton reciting Pamela dialogue penned by Jason Lives writer/director Tom McLoughlin!
The May release will be followed by the single-player component in the summer.
