EuroObscura has just premiered their sci-fi horror Landing Lake at the Cannes market.
The sales pitch pegged it as a bloody science fiction movie, reminiscent of sci/fi from the 80s like The Thing, with the story revolving around a mysterious mountain lake where a UFO crashed in the past.
They’ve now shared the official sales trailer that’s astoundingly awful. In fact, it’s a “worst trailer of the year” nominee. While the summary wasn’t lying, the footage looks terrible, with the hilarious voiceover (“you’ve fallen for its spell”) and score not helping matters.
Victoire Vecchierini and Emma Bown star in the movie shot in Super35mm. I can’t wait to see this pop up on Redbox.
