Gun Media and Illfonic put together one hell of a team for Friday the 13th: The Game, which we’ve been having a blast with the last couple months. Not only did Kane Hodder provide the motion capture for Jason Voorhees, but Tom Savini designed the kills!
As for the music, it was handled by franchise staple Harry Manfredini!
Manfredini composed a new (but perfectly familiar) score for Friday the 13th: The Game, and we’ve just learned that Waxwork Records plans on releasing that score on vinyl. Waxwork’s Kevin Bergeron made the exciting reveal in a chat with Geek.com this week.
“Oh we’re doin’ it. It’s going to be this crazy expansive double (maybe even triple) LP thing,” he told the site. “I mean the game is so awesome and so much fun to play. And yes, it will be more than just retro Jason’s theme. It’s going to be all the music from the game. I even want to license that Misfits song that plays in the main cabin. We’re pretty tight with Jerry Only, so we just have to reach out at some point.”
Stay tuned for more info!
