I think it’s safe to say that most fans of Hellboy agree that while the Neil Marshall-directed, David Harbour-starring reboot Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen is sounding pretty damn good, it’s kind of a massive bummer that Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman aren’t getting the chance to finish their trilogy.
With the reboot in the works, it seems certain that we’ll never again see Ron Perlman in the role of Hellboy, which isn’t sitting well with many fans. But what about the possibility of Perlman having a cameo in Marshall’s film?
One fan asked him that very question over on Twitter today.

David Harbour plays Hellboy and Ian McShane will co-star as Professor Broom in Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, which sees the hero squaring off against a medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy humankind. The 2018 film is set to be dark, violent and rated R.
