In the wake of Jaws on the water comes… Evil Dead 2 in the woods!
For-the-fans screenings of horror films from the past have become increasingly unique and interactive in recent years; along those very lines, EW reports today that the Alamo Drafthouse, SYFY, and Austin’s BookPeople have put together a special event this September that’ll take Evil Dead fans deep into the woods for a once-in-a-lifetime screening of the sequel.
Taking place on Thursday, September 14 in Austin, Texas, the “nerve-shatteringly immersive cinematic experience” will be attended not just by throngs of Evil Dead 2 fans, but also by star/legend/god-like figure, Bruce Campbell! Yes, this is your chance to watch the horror classic… in the woods… with Ash Williams himself.
All tickets include a copy of Bruce’s new book, Hail to the Chin.
