Are you eating Boo Berry… or is he eating you?
You know it’s officially Halloween season when General Mills’ Monster Cereals return to store shelves, and indeed you’ll find Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry at your local grocery store right now. The cereal mascots have become lovable icons of Halloween, showing kids that monsters are not always scary.
Then again, sometimes they are.
Reddit’s thecalgee just shared a fun project wherein he re-imagined each of the five Cereal Monsters as terrifying EC Comics villains, giving Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry and even discontinued monsters Yummy Mummy and Fruit Brute their own Tales from the Crypt-style comic book covers.
