YOU Can Help a Young Boy Battling Brain Cancer Have a Happy Halloween

A little kindness will go a long way for one young Halloween lover this year.

Seven-year-old Brock Chadwick was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer earlier this year, which he’s been valiantly fighting since March. As it turns out, Brock happens to be a huge fan of Halloween, and his family wants YOUR help in making sure he has a happy one this year.

In an effort to cheer him up and put his mind in a happier place, Brock’s family has opened up their mailbox to anyone and everyone, dubbing the month “Brocktober” and asking that anyone who’s feeling giving send along a simple Halloween card to keep Brock smiling throughout the month.

It’s been really hard, but he’s a really tough little guy,” Brock’s mom told WGME 13. “Ya know, it’s people sending in cards, candy, pictures… he’s totally enjoying it. It’s kind of like Christmas in October. He and his sisters are just overjoyed with everything. It’s so comforting to see that he’s not always hurting.”

If you’d like to send a little Halloween cheer to Brock, you can mail cards, decorations, candy or anything else to: 11 McKenney Drive, Biddeford, ME 04005.
