For the past ten years now, Jelly Belly has been offering up boxes of jelly beans under their “BeanBoozled” umbrella, which feature gross flavors like “Stinky Socks,” “Dead Fish” and “Spoiled Milk” mixed in with delicious flavors like “Tutti-Fruitti,” “Coconut” and “Birthday Cake.” The idea being, you don’t know if you’re about to bite into a tasty one or a disgusting one.
It looks like Skittles will be taking a page out of the Jelly Belly book this Halloween season when they unleash ZOMBIE SKITTLES, sure to be one of Halloween 2019’s grossest delights.
The gimmick here is that Skittles candies that taste like “rotten zombie” have been randomly mixed into each bag of these. In other words, you won’t know if you’re tasting the rainbow or human flesh until it’s too late. The candies flavored like “Rotten Zombie” will be completely indistinguishable from the “normal” candies, as they can be any color of the rainbow.
Going the extra mile, each “normal” flavor has also been given a fun Halloween name:
- Petrifying Citrus Punch
- Mummified Melon
- Boogeyman Blackberry
- Chilling Black Cherry
- Blood Red Berry
With Halloween now less than 100 days away, expect Zombie Skittles in stores soon!
