For the second year in a row, Six Flags Great Adventure is hosting the 30 hour Coffin Challenge between October 13 and 14. Six guests will be chosen from among thousands of applicants to survive 30 hours in a coffin during Fright Fest for prizes and bragging rights.
“The Munsters” star Butch Patrick will join this year’s festivities as a guest emcee.
The challenge will begin Sunday, October 13 at 2:30 p.m. and conclude Monday, October 14 at 8:30 p.m.
Individuals and pairs are welcome to apply
The Rules:
- Participants must stay in the coffin except for a 13-minute bathroom break every 3 hours
- Participants who step outside the coffins for any reason, with the exception of designated bathroom breaks or to participate in challenges, will be disqualified
- All meals must be eaten in the coffin
The Prizes:
First Place Winner:
- $600 cash!
- Two 2020 Gold Season Passes
- Two 2019 Fright Fest Passes for the Haunted Houses
Second Place Winner:
- Two 2020 Gold Season Passes
- Two 2019 Fright Fest Passes for the Haunted Houses
Third Place Winner:
- Four Admission Tickets to Six Flags Great Adventure (Valid until November 10, 2019)
- Four 2019 Fright Fest Passes for the Haunted Houses
